David and Melissa here on Monday the 16th at 3:20. We just met with Dr. Tweddell that performed the surgery and everything went well. I feel like we should be able to shout it or say it someway that is much more deserving of the news. Melissa and I are very grateful and humbled by the whole experience. Caden Marshall was the perfect candidate and he did what he needed to do, we did what we needed to do and the doctors did what they needed to do. Most importantly God looked over our son and gave us the strength to get through this very difficult hurdle! The critical time is the next couple of days yet we wanted to get you this stage of great news. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and we ask that you keep it up for Caden Marshall as it is making the difference.
Melissa and I just saw them wheel our son from the operating room to the PICU and we were able to give him a quick kiss. Soon we will be able to get into the PICU to see him so we will sign off and update you soon.

We are all breathing a lot easier now, just as you all are as well! I'm sure you feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted off of your shoulders now that this surgery is behind you and Caden. I was so thankful to get the good news. Now you guys can focus on your son's healing. Thoughts of you have been pouring into my brain for the last week! When the I saw what a beautiful day it was today, I knew it was going to be a good day, and that Caden was going to pull through this surgery with flying colors!
